Record my School have a 16 channel mobile recording studio which we will bring to you school and set up in a Hall or other suitable space.

Our engineers spend a whole day at your school. We will arrive around  7.30am in order to set up and be ready to record from 9am.

We will travel to and record anywhere in the UK or Europe*.

How much music can we fit onto a CD?

A CD will hold a maximum of 99 tracks or 80 minutes of audio.

How many pupils can you record at once?

We can record as large or as small a group as you’d like. As long as we can fit everyone in the same room (we recommend a school hall or music room), numbers are not problem as we will use a range of microphones carefully positioned to ensure everyone is captured on the recording. We are happy to have different groups doing different songs if this is something you’d like. We can even do a teachers’ only song or CD!

Can we use live instruments in the recording?

We can record anything you like from choirs with piano or guitar accompaniment to rock bands, wind quintets or recorder groups. You produce the talent we will record them.

Can we sing-along to backing tracks if we don’t have a pianist?

Yes we can take a direct feed of your backing track – we can even take a feed from online sources if necessary.  Let us know if you need help sourcing backing tracks.  We even have a team of musicians who can write you a bespoke track if you need it.

How many CDs should I order?

We suggest ordering slightly more CD’s than you have pupils. However it is worth taking pre orders to get an indication of the numbers sold initially to help you judge. We will never encourage you to sell more CD’s than you need. You can also order any quantity between the price breaks.

What will the CD look like?

Our standard option for CD packaging is a jewel case with a 4 page booklet.  Please contact us if you would like a sample sent out or wish to discuss alternative packaging options.
