Record a CD in School this Summer

Record a CD in School this Summer

With the Easter Holidays now upon us, this is a great time to start planning for the Summer.  The good news is that it’s not too late to book a recording for your school.

June and July is, surprisingly, one of our most busy periods of the year, second only to Christmas.   You may think that Summer term is mostly taken up with exams.  However, this can also be a great time to record a CD.  In a lot of schools there is usually couple of weeks towards the end of the Summer term where exams have all finished, but term still goes on.

This is a window of opportunity to record a CD. Depending on the dates, we can sometimes even turn around an entire album in under 7 days so you can have it ready for pupils by the end of the Summer term.  More usual, we tend to Record School Chamber choirs or similar groups where the CD isn’t required until the beginning of the Michaelmas term. This gives us, and you, all Summer to do the editing and mastering and get the album ready.

Surprisingly, the Summer can also be a good time to record a Christmas Album.  Why you may ask? Well despite it not being the season for caroling, by recording your Christmas CD in the Summer it gives you a bigger window of opportunity to sell it come the second half of the Michaelmas term.  This in term means you are likely to make more profit from CD or online Sales of your album which in turn is better of or your school.

Whatever the album you have in mind, the Summer can represent a great opportunity to record with Record my School. If you would like to explore what opportunities might be available then please give us a call today on 01225 302143.  Alternatively you can click here to email us.
